Kijiji launches new Daily Deals site

Kijiji has joined the Daily Deals revolution and launched their own daily deals site. They featured their first deal yesterday. It was a “$25 Chapters Indigo Online Gift Certificate for Only $10” deal across Canada. It was very well received and they sold out all 2000+ vouchers.

Kijiji is Canada’s most popular free, local classifieds site. Kijiji offers a convenient, fun, and easy way for people in the same city to buy, sell, trade and help each other out in areas such as goods, cars, services, housing and jobs.

The word “kijiji” (pronounced like key-gee-gee) means “village” in Swahili. This name was chosen because it captures the essence of what we are creating – a site where people can connect with others in their community.

Kijiji was launched in Montreal and Quebec City in February 2005. In November 2005, Kijiji expanded across the rest of Canada and is now in over 100 cities coast to coast.

Over eight million Canadians use Kijiji each month.

Click here to check out Kijiji’s daily deals site or for more information about their daily deals. I will occasionally post and feature their better and hotter deals here.

HOT DEAL: ING DIRECT Canada: Get $25 when you open an account and deposit $100

Here’s a pretty hot deal that I’ve been meaning to share with you. With the holiday season right around the corner, here’s a hot deal that will help you save and earn money!

When you open up any new ING Direct account (Investment Savings Account, RSP, or GIC) and deposit $100 or more using my Orange Key code “16521687S1“, ING Direct will automatically give you a $25 bonus! That’s an instant and guaranteed 25% return on your investment!

I’ve had an ING Direct account for about 5 years now. They offer the highest interest rates around and it’s very easy to deposit and pull money out. After you sign up for an account, I highly recommend you take a look at their “Automatic Savings Program.” It’s an excellent and easy way to save money. I have it set to automatically save $100 off every pay cheque. You won’t even notice it gone when you pay yourself first. I pull the money out once a year and use it towards a vacation. Since I don’t even notice the money out of my banking account, it always makes it feel like it’s a free trip.

Remember to use my Orange Key code “16521687S1” when you open an account to get your $25 bonus or you won’t get the bonus if you don’t use the code. What’s even more incredible about this deal is after you sign up for an account, you’ll get your own Orange Key code. ING Direct will then pay you $25 whenever you refer a friend and they open up a new account. It’s a win-win situation. You’ll each get a $25 bonus!

Click here to open an ING Direct account now or for more information about the deal.
