Galvanic electrolysis is known as the oldest method of electrolysis, dating back to 1875. A direct current is used to remove unwanted hair. Like a battery produces power, the galvanic method uses a small needle and a current strong enough to break apart the salt water in our bodies, so that each hair can be targeted individually, causing a chemical decomposition to occur in the hair growing cells. The galvanic method can also be combined with thermolysis to create the blend method. With this combination, hair will grow back finer and lighter, with as little as 20% regrowth.
