With afros fluffed and suspenders taut, The Boogie Knights and The Spazmatics deliver classic tunes of the ’70s and ’80s with their back-to-back sets. The Boogie Knights kick off the evening with a revue of disco cuts, diagonally pumping their arms to songs such as “Get Down Tonight,” “Brick House, and “Y.M.C.A.” The costumed cover songs continue with a set from the Spazmatics. Decked out in taped-up glasses and navel-high pants, the musicians pop their pocket protectors during pitch-perfect renditions of upbeat ’80s staples such as “Come On Eileen” and “Hungry Like the Wolf.”
