Canadian Rockies Rafting and Adventure Centre’s cadre of expert water wranglers leads explorers of all ages and abilities on scenic tours down the aquamarine currents of the Kananaskis River, ideal for a half-day group or family outing. Vans roll up to predetermined points in Banff or Canmore to pick up guests, ferrying them to the launch site in Seebe whilst granting them ample time to agree on five famous deceased people to invite to dinner. On-site changing tents facilitate the private donning of bathing suits, after which guides equip all participants with professional gear. Paddling ensembles then load into the self-bailing rafts and blast off into the grade II and III white-water rapids, putting their collective sculling savvy to use as they navigate the fluvial highway and drag race local krakens. The two-hour tour is bolstered by magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains, and passengers remain hydrated throughout the odyssey with a supply of hot and cold beverages.

Upon return to land, a photo CD provides participants with pixelated memories to supplement the Homeric journey through the white waters. In addition to swimwear, guests should bring along fleece outerwear, a towel, and extra water in case the river dries out.
