What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
The Bothy has the largest selection of whisky in Edmonton at over 225 Bottles. And a fresh menu of eats, our Bothy is truly a wee house of travelers solace. 20 wines offered by the glass. Amazing food using fresh ingredients from local partners. Friendly atmosphere and wonderful ambiance. Cheers!

What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
Our Cheese and Charcuterie boards give you the choice of 18 items to build your own perfect plates. Each selection is paired with a home made jelly, mustard or house pickles and a side of freshly baked baguette. Cheeses and Meats rotate monthly.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Being from Scotland originally I’ve always had a deep appreciation for whisky. Along with a love of wine and fresh food it seemed like the perfect idea for my own wee Bothy here in Edmonton. A ‘bothy’ is derived from the Gaelic word ‘Bothan’ meaning small hut.And is a common sight in the Highlands

What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people is definitely the best part for myself. This place has always felt like home, like family [to me], And that’s how I want the customers to feel….We’ve always tried to make this feel like everyone’s home away from home.
