Leduc Golf Club was established in 1961 with just nine holes, but renovations over the years have fashioned it into a scenic 18-hole course stretched across 6,600 yards. Today, the semi-private club features a front nine lined with trees and a back nine riddled with ponds and creeks. Golfers duel with the course’s water hazards at hole 11, a daunting par five sidled up next to a large pond. Hole 14, however, might be the most difficult on the course. That’s because its green slopes off on every side, meaning the advantage goes to precise approach shots or golf balls balanced by years of yoga classes. Players who manage to conquer the course’s challenges can celebrate at the Leduc Cook House while looking out over the 18th hole from a spacious seasonal patio.
