A bothy, derived from the Gaelic word “Bothan” meaning small hut, is a temporary sanctuary for shepherds and hikers caught out in the hills by bad weather. The Bothy welcomes guests to stop in for some respite. Servers bring out trays piled with cheeses and meats from Canada, Italy, France, England, and Switzerland. The worldly cuisine also includes classic Scottish haggis, along with roasted lamb sausage pasta and a steak and mushroom pie.
