Full-day workshops are held in the Park Room at the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert and run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. Choose from the following dates:

Fotoscool’s internationally acclaimed photographer and cinematographer Brad Wrobleski—whose work has been featured in the likes of National Geographic and BBC—guides shutterbugs through the ins and outs of photography during full-day workshops held in the Enjoy Centre’s balmy surrounds. Amid the verdant flora of the greenhouse and nursery, up to 80 students get introduced to digital SLR photography through expert instruction, interactive exercises, and bonding human-camera trust falls. While flashes are optional, attendees should bring an SLR camera with a midrange lens, two memory cards, and two batteries. Learn to eschew the camera’s auto-programmed modes for manual settings that facilitate personalized picture taking without the hassles of monogramming each pixel. A midsession lunch break serves as a respite for weary trigger fingers, and pupils can scoop up sustenance from one of the Enjoy Centre’s restaurants and cafes (not included in today’s deal).
