The Open Sky Music Festival celebrates its sophomore year by infusing Hawrelak Park with reggae, surf rock, and roots music from 30 globally and locally famous performers. Saturday features a relentless cavalcade of melodies, with showcases from rasta-tinged crooner Daniel Wesley at 8 p.m. and Canadian Reggae Music Award-winners Souljah Fyah at 9:15 p.m. Sunday shuffles on with 12 more hours of sonic sunshine, featuring a set from chanteuse Hayley Sales at 4 p.m. Dynamic new-folk troubadours John and Roy, who craft rollicking ditties that grasp the ears like a pack of hugging grandmothers, perform at 6:30 p.m., and professional surfer Donavon Frankenreiter waxes down a longboard of tubular jams at 8 p.m.
